The Risk Management Division of the Department of Financial & Management Services is responsible for managing health and safety programs while ensuring compliance with federal, state and County occupational health and safety regulations. This division investigates and analyzes risks to which James City County and the Williamsburg-James City County School Division may be exposed and determines potential sources of loss and methods of avoiding or mitigating their effects while working with departments to ensure proper controls are in place.
