Community Outreach Network Educate Care Thrive (CONECT)
About CONECT
CONECT, in partnership with the Fire Department and Police Department, aims to reach out to individuals throughout James City County who are in need of supportive services. This program serves to “connect” citizens and their caregivers with appropriate resources to aid and support individualized needs in the home.
Eligibility
CONECT works with individuals who are either:
60 years of age or older
18-59 with a disability
The program also offers support to caregivers of an adult. All services are voluntary and tailored to meet the needs of the participating individual.
CONECT was recently awarded the 2019 Innovation Award for Public Safety by the Virginia Municipal League.
