The Department provides fingerprinting services to County residents and employees of County businesses.
Bring a government issued photo identification card and any fingerprint cards that have been provided to you.
Due to COVID-19, fingerprinting services are being offered by appointment only. You may call the Department at 757-253-1800 during normal business hours to schedule an appointment. You may also schedule online at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b0545a9a922a02-fingerprinting (external site).
Those coming to the Law Enforcement Center for fingerprinting services should follow CDC guidelines and wear a mask or cloth face covering.
- $10 for first fingerprint card
- $5 for additional fingerprint cards
- We accept check, cash (having exact change is highly recommended) and credit/debit cards (a 2.95% convenience fee will be added to all credit/debit card transactions).
